- We follow the HEI Schools framework — a Finnish-inspired approach to early childhood education that is recognised globally as one of the world's best. This means learning is play-based and child-led. Instead of worksheets, our teachers use observation notes to track your child's development. Instead of rigid lesson plans, our educators design experiences around what children are curious about that week. We complement this with a 12-week project approach, Emotional Intelligence work, and thoughtful display of each child's learning journey.
Yes — and in a deeper way than most schools prepare children. Research consistently shows that children who develop strong self-regulation, curiosity, communication, and problem-solving skills in early years outperform those who are drilled on academics. Our children leave with confidence, resilience, and a love of learning — which is exactly what primary school teachers say they wish children arrived with. Our students are known as early settlers in primary schools both within and outside India.
Our educators are trained in co-regulation, not just supervision. When a child is overwhelmed or having a "big moment," our teachers pause, breathe, and approach calmly. We have dedicated Calm Down Corners in every classroom — a cosy, safe space where children can settle with support. We see big emotions as moments to explore, not disruptions.
We believe home and school should feel like a continuous safety net for your child. We share daily, weekly, monthly updates, learning portfolios, celebrate "small wins" and breakthroughs in our parent communications (not just logistics), and hold quarterly community mixers. Our goal is 100% parent participation in the child's learning story — not just at report card time.
Our ratios are intentionally kept small to ensure every child receives genuine attention and meaningful interaction — not just supervision.
Yes! Nutrition and wellness are part of our holistic approach. We serve nutritious snacks and meals and use mealtimes as social learning opportunities — table conversation, sharing, waiting — all of which support development. Please ask us for the current menu and allergy policy during your visit.
Montessori focuses on independence and self-directed work with specific materials. Standard pre-schools often use a theme-based curriculum with fixed outcomes. HEI Schools takes a third path — rooted in Finnish educational philosophy — which centres on the child's natural curiosity and the educator's role as an observer and facilitator. We are less about what is taught and more about who the child is becoming. Our goal is not just to be a good school — it's to be the best pre-school in Gurugram, through intentionality and joy.
Absolutely — we encourage it. We offer both a campus tour (for parents) and a complimentary trial morning (for your child). The trial session is where most families feel the difference rather than just hear about it. Please reach out to schedule — we'd love to welcome you.
In India - We're proud to have received the Indian Education Congress Award 2026 (Innovative Pre-school of the Year), the Shining Star Pre-School Award from Vibgyor Group of Schools, and our founder was honoured at the ET Women Conclave as a Changemaker in People Leadership and Early Learning Excellence. These recognitions reflect the commitment of our entire team.
